Anne Allred is an American journalist who is currently working as a reporter and anchor at 5 On Your Side in St. Louis, Missouri since January She anchors the 6 and 10 pm news with Mike Bush and won the Mid-American Emmy award for best news anchor for her coverage of the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri.

Louisan native, she came to 5 On Your Side from WHDH, the NBC affiliate in Boston, where she worked for six years and served as the weekday morning and noon anchor. In addition, her work there resulted in a Emmy nomination for best news anchor.

Prior to joining WHDH, she worked at WSYX/WTTE in Columbus, Ohio, WCTI in New Bern, NC, and for NPR.

Anne is excited to be back in her hometown rooting on the Cardinals, but, she says 5 on Your Side feels like home to her. She was utterly interested in journalism when she interned at 5 On Your Side while earning her degree in journalism from The Ohio State University.
